The 1st Sriwijaya International Conference on Basic and Applied Sciences was held on November 6-7, 2018 at Horison Ultima Hotel Palembang. The first Sicbas Conference was organized by the committee under the leadership of Dr. Fiber Monado and carried the theme of science for sustainable development. The keynote speakers were from Osaka University, Japan. Conference participants came from abroad as well as several provinces outside of South Sumatra.
This event is launched so as to provide a chance and venue for researchers to come together for research presentations and dissemination. The conference is a biennial important event to publish and communicate research results in basic and applied sciences.
